| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3023 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | line 24 on page 5 through line 5 on page 6 with the following:

| 4 | "(c-5) Whenever appropriate and available, case management | ||||||
| 5 | should be provided by a licensed treatment provider or other | ||||||
| 6 | appropriate provider and may include peer recovery support | ||||||
| 7 | approaches."; and | ||||||
| 8 | on page 6, line 16, after "(2)", by inserting "of subsection | ||||||
| 9 | (a)"; and | ||||||
| 10 | on page 7, by replacing line 5 with the following: | ||||||
| 11 | "(a) The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, | ||||||
| 12 | in"; and | ||||||
| 13 | on page 7, lines 7 and 8, by replacing "Alcoholism and | ||||||
| 14 | Substance Abuse" with "Substance Use Prevention and Recovery"; | ||||||

| 1 | on page 7, line 17, after the semicolon, by inserting "and"; | ||||||

| 5 | (b) The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority | ||||||
| 6 | shall make statistical data collected under subsection (a) of | ||||||
| 7 | this Section available to the Department of Human Services,"; | ||||||

| 10 | Abuse" with "Substance Use Prevention and Recovery"; and | ||||||
| 11 | on page 8, line 17, by replacing "reimbursing" with "funding"; | ||||||

| 13 | on page 8, by replacing lines 22 through 23 with "distribution | ||||||
| 14 | of funds for expenses related to deflection programs. Funding | ||||||
| 15 | shall be made available to support both new and existing | ||||||
| 16 | deflection programs in a broad spectrum of geographic regions | ||||||
| 17 | in this State, including urban, suburban, and rural | ||||||
| 18 | communities. Activities eligible for funding".
