2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3359 on page 75, | ||||||
3 | line 8, after "19-129", by inserting "and by adding Section | ||||||
4 | 9-109.6"; and | ||||||
5 | on page 94, by inserting immediately below line 9 the | ||||||
6 | following:

7 | "(735 ILCS 5/9-109.6 new) | ||||||
8 | Sec. 9-109.6. Residential eviction order; form. A | ||||||
9 | standardized residential eviction order form, as determined by | ||||||
10 | the Supreme Court, shall be used statewide. "; and | ||||||
11 | on page 113, by replacing lines 7 through 12 with the | ||||||
12 | following:

13 | "lease will be terminated. If the tenant does not pay the rent | ||||||
14 | due within the time stated in the notice under this Section, |

| |||||||
1 | the landlord may consider the lease ended and commence an | ||||||
2 | eviction or ejectment action without further notice or demand. | ||||||
3 | If the tenant does not within the
time mentioned in such | ||||||
4 | notice, pay the rent due, the landlord
may consider the lease | ||||||
5 | ended, and sue for the possession under
the statute in relation | ||||||
6 | to forcible entry and
detainer, or maintain ejectment without | ||||||
7 | further notice or
demand. A claim for rent may be joined in the | ||||||
8 | complaint,".
