SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $11,692,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Public School Teachers' Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago for the State's contribution for retirement contributions under a specified provision of the Chicago Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017. Effective July 1, 2017.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $11,692,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Public School Teachers' Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago for the State's contribution for retirement contributions under Section 17-127 of the Illinois Pension Code for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2017.
