Biography: Full-time Legislator; Previously served as Vice President on the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC); Appointed by The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to serve on the Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC), a national advisory committee that helps implement various public health and environmental programs ensuring clean air, water, safe drinking water and responsible waste disposal; Former Legislative and Community Affairs Director for the Chicago Park District; Former adjunct professor Roosevelt University; Born and raised on Chicago's south side; attended The University of Chicago Lab School; BS, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; MBA, University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mother of two and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and The Links, Inc.
