SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Helen M. Belt of Carlinville, who passed 
4away on November 1, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Belt was born in Newport, Arkansas to 
6Charles C. and Esther Taylor White on January 27, 1934; she 
7married Billy Belt; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Helen Belt was a homemaker; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Helen Belt enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, 
10cooking, reading, and horseback riding; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Helen Belt was preceded in death by her husband, 
12Billy; her parents;  her son, Paul Neely; and her  grandchildren, 
13Paul Neely III, Brandy Neely, and Billy Neely; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Helen Belt is survived by her sons, Merle (Vickie) 
15Neely, David Neely, and Timothy (Andrea) Neely; her daughters, 
16Linda (Dale) Reels, Lisa (John) Katava, and  Billie Jo (Gregory) 
17Centers; her grandchildren, Nikki, Melinda, Dawn, Dale, John, 
18James "Butch", Billy, Erica, Greg, Breah, and Colton; 25 
19great-grandchildren;  and her brother, Albert (Kathy) Allen;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Helen M. Belt, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Helen Belt as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
