SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Daniel L. Hernandez of Milan, who passed 
4away on August 31, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez was born on October 20, 1947 in 
6Silvis; his parents were Cecil and Virginia Lopez Hernandez, 
7Sr.; he married Jeanine Eddy on July 27, 1991 in Milan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez was a United States Army veteran; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez worked for John Deere PDC in 
11Milan for 30 years until his retirement in 1996; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez was an avid New York Yankees fan 
13and enjoyed collecting hats; he also enjoyed spending time with 
14his wife, children, and grandchildren; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez was preceded in death by his 
16parents and his brother, Jim; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez is survived by his wife, Jeanine; 
18his children, Daniel (Juanita) Hernandez, Tracy Hernandez, 
19Danielle Hernandez (Brett Copp), Rebecca (Ryan) Aschemann, and

1Jeff (Jaime) Brown; 11 grandchildren; his great-grandchild; 
2his siblings, Cecil Hernandez, Jr., Adela (Jesse) Lopez, Sr., 
3Fredrick (Mona) Hernandez, Louis (Amy) Hernandez, Linda 
4(Daniel) Stark, and Rose Hernandez (Armando Alvarado); his 
5brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike (Sandy) Eddy and Gary 
6Eddy; and his mother-in-law, Frances Baines; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Daniel L. Hernandez; 
10and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Daniel Hernandez as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
