SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Leo Linsky of Pleasant Prairie,
4Wisconsin, who passed away on July 27, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Leo Linsky was born in Waukegan to Walter and
6Bernice (Salcius) Linsky on April 22, 1933; he graduated from
7Waukegan Township High and spent the next two years in trade
8school; prior to finishing his schooling, he enlisted in the
9United States Army and served as a Corporal during the Korean
10War; and
 
11    WHEREAS, After returning to the United States, Leo Linsky
12began his apprenticeship and finished three more years of trade
13school; he became a superintendent/estimator in the field of
14commercial plumbing and heating; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Leo Linsky enjoyed spending time between his home
16in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and his property in Chetek,
17Wisconsin; he was a true outdoorsman; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Leo Linsky was preceded in death by his parents;
19and
 
20    WHEREAS, Leo Linsky is survived by his wife, Donna (Ash);

1his children, Terry Linsky (Jennifer Hendrix), Kevin (Lynda)
2Linsky, Tanya (John) Lauderdale, and Dean (Suzy) Linsky; his
3siblings, Walter (Phyllis) Linsky Jr., Dolores Pankratz, and
4Raymond Linsky; his granddaughters, Karma (Raph), Krysten
5(Alex), Tara (Ryan), Aleese (Jeff), and Nicole; his
6great-grandchildren, Ava and Benny; numerous nephews and
7nieces; and a multitude of friends; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Leo Linsky, and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
11friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Leo Linsky as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
