SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Nancy Jeanne Ross of Gillespie, who 
4passed away on June 11, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Nancy Ross was born in
Gillespie to Thomas and  
6Florence (Shuey) Dickinson on May 27, 1931; she graduated from 
7Gillespie High School and married Gerald R. Ross in Gillespie 
8on May 12, 1950; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Nancy Ross was a homemaker; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Nancy Ross was preceded
in death by her parents; 
11her brother, Thomas Dickinson; and her sisters, Zola Bereyso,

12Flora Bertagnolli, and June Ebert; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Nancy Ross is
survived by her husband, Gerald; her 
14sons, Jerry R. (Kimberly)
Ross, Jeffrey M. (Lee) Ross, and Jay 
15T. Ross (Ann
Marie Bauer); her grandchildren, Eric (Jen) Ross,

16Chad (Lisa) Ross, Shelby Ross, Jeremy Ross, Joshua (Amanda) 
17Ross, Jessica
Ross, and Gary Thomas Bauer Ross; and her nine 
18great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Nancy Jeanne Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
