3 | | learn of the death of Larry Dean Byrd of Pekin, who passed away |
4 | | on May 23, 2016; and

5 | | WHEREAS, Larry Byrd was born in Peoria to Percy and Pearl |
6 | | Plotner Byrd on November 13, 1944; he married Penny Ann Ziemer |
7 | | in Creve Coeur on August 31, 1969; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Larry Byrd worked at Caterpiller Inc., for the |
9 | | City of Pekin as a garbage man, for Morton High School as a |
10 | | custodian, and later at Hanna Steel in Pekin; he owned and |
11 | | operated B & B Home Improvements; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Larry Byrd enjoyed bowling, going mushrooming, |
13 | | working outdoors, and his animals; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Larry Byrd was preceded in death by his parents; |
15 | | his brother, Robert Byrd; and his sisters, Ruth Scott and Norma |
16 | | Baxter; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Larry Byrd is survived by his wife, Penny; his |
18 | | children, Tammy (Rick) Hyatt, Larry (Jenny) Byrd, Doreen (Tim) |
19 | | Mussleman, Jill (Al) Moore, and Mike Belville; 17 |
20 | | grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his brother, Terry |
