SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Debbra J. Spitzbart of Woodstock, who
4passed away on April 5, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was born on July 3, 1953 in
6Woodstock; her parents were Martin and Lucille Knuth; she
7married David Spitzbart on September 15, 1973 in Crystal Lake;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was a member of St. John's
10Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart worked for many years as a
12teacher's aide, book seller, and house manager at the Woodstock
13Opera House; she loved the theatre and worked in many
14capacities behind the scenes and as a producer; she also served
15as a board member for the Woodstock Musical Theatre Company and
16was very active with the Town Square Players; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was an avid reader and home
18decorator; she also enjoyed spending time with her loving
19family; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart was preceded in death by her

1parents; her father-in-law, Gus Spitzbart; her sister-in-law,
2Norma Spitzbart; and her nephew, Jeremy Spitzbart; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Debbra Spitzbart is survived by her loving husband
4of 42 years, David Spitzbart; her children, Brad Spitzbart and
5Ellen (Zach Conrad) Spitzbart; a grandson on the way; her twin
6sister, Barb (Arnold) Diedrich; her mother-in-law, Edna
7Spitzbart; her sister-in-law, Barb (Craig) Zivic; and her many
8nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Debbra J. Spitzbart;
12and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Debbra Spitzbart as an expression of
15our sympathy.
