SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Linda W. Stittgen of Johnsburg, who 
4passed away on March 14, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen was born on January 11, 1954 in 
6Waukegan; her parents were Fred and Louise Wahl; she married 
7Victor Hopp on January 11, 2001 in McHenry; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen was a lifelong resident of the 
9Johnsburg area and graduated in 1972; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Cooking was Linda Stittgen's passion in life; she 
11was a chef in several local restaurants and cooked for 
12Johnsburg School District 12; she was also a licensed realtor; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen enjoyed working in her flower and 
15vegetable gardens and spending time with her family; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen is preceded in death by her 
17parents; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen is survived by her husband, Victor 
19Hopp; her children, Christopher Stittgen, Brian Stittgen,

1Daniel Stittgen, and Seth (Justine) Stittgen; her nine 
2grandchildren; her sister, Ann Troka; and her brothers, Fred 
3(Kathryn) Wahl, Robert (Barbara) Wahl, and Kenneth Wahl; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Linda W. Stittgen; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Linda Stittgen as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
