SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William Harold Burney "Billie" Rigdon of 
4Hartford, who passed away on April 11, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Rigdon was born in Alton to Charshel and 
6Jean Rigdon on April 12, 1972; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, William Rigdon attended The William M. BeDell 
8Achievement and Resource Center in Wood River; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, William Rigdon enjoyed fishing, swimming, 
10dancing, boating, listening to the radio, and taking car rides; 
11he loved being with his family, always laughing and sharing his 
12smile and never knew a stranger; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, William Rigdon is survived by his parents; his 
14brother, John Thomas "John Boy" Burney

Rigdon; his two sisters, 
15Gina Lewis and husband, Ben, and Diana Rigdon and fiancé, 
16William Spencer; his two nieces, Leah Thompson and husband, 
17Thomas, and Amber Stewart and fiancé, Chad Hancock; many 
18great-nieces, great-nephews, and other extended
family and 
19friends; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2William Harold Burney "Billie" Rigdon, and extend our sincere 
3condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
4him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  William Rigdon as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
