2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Larry D. Molck, who passed away on April |
4 | | 14, 2016; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Larry Molck graduated from Joliet Township High |
6 | | School in 1951, where he developed his life-long love of |
7 | | sports; after graduation, he signed a contract with the St. |
8 | | Louis Browns minor league baseball club and played for two |
9 | | years before joining the United States Navy; and |
10 | | WHEREAS, Larry Molck was an Operating Engineer and member |
11 | | of the Local 150 Operating Engineers for more than 50 years; he |
12 | | spent the majority of his career with the former Brown and |
13 | | Lambrecht Excavating; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Larry Molck always remained hopeful that the |
15 | | Chicago Cubs would win the World Series and it was a great |
16 | | enjoyment for him to watch the Cubs win their home opener this |
17 | | year; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Larry Molck enjoyed taking care of his yard and |
19 | | gardens and spent many hours with friends and family in the |
20 | | backyard; he was also a longtime and Honorary Member of the |
21 | | South Side Civic Club and American Legion Post 1080; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Larry Molck is survived by his loving wife of 61 |
2 | | years, Margery (Swearingen); his children, Cathy (James) |
3 | | Lowery (Molck), Malia (Stephen) Hrubec (Molck), and Michael |
4 | | Molck; his grandchildren, Sarah (Sean) Rogers (Rosendahl), Amy |
5 | | (Nicholas) Johnson (Hrubec), Andrew Hrubec, Adam and Kelly |
6 | | (Yandel) Molck, and Alan Molck; his great-grandchildren, John |
7 | | Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Erik Rogers, Rebecca Rogers, Ryan Rogers, |
8 | | Lucas Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Payton Johnson, Brenden Molck, |
9 | | Caleb Molck, Logan Molck, and Malia Molck; several nieces, |
10 | | nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his beloved Pug, |
11 | | Ruby Mae; therefore, be it

12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
14 | | Larry D. Molck, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
16 | | further

17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
18 | | presented to the family of Larry Molck as an expression of our |
19 | | deepest sympathy.
