SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Flora E. Faraci of Champaign, who passed 
4away on April 6, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Flora Faraci was born in Jersey City, New Jersey 
6to Leo and Tillie (Hauptman) Lefkowitz on January 11, 1939; she 
7married Piero Faraci in Miami Beach, Florida on February 15, 
81959; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Flora Faraci owned and operated the Jane Addams 
10Book Shop in downtown Champaign from 1984 to 2009 while her 
11husband was operating The Great Impasta just around the corner 
12from her shop; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Flora Faraci was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Piero; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Flora Faraci is survived by her daughter, Lisa 
16(Jeff) Faraci Zachwieja; her  son, Paul (Stephanie) Faraci; her 
17three granddaughters, Nicole Zachwieja, Becca Zachwieja, and 
18Ellie Faraci; her two sisters, Deena Seigel and Beth (Andy) 
19Isaacs; and her two nieces, Lauren and Jessica; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Flora E. Faraci, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Flora Faraci as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
