SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Louis L. Spano of Wood River, who passed 
4away on March 23, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Louis Spano was born in Alton on December 26, 
61945; he married Nancy Hinson at St. Bernard Catholic Church in 
7Wood River on August 7, 1971; he served in the  United States 
8Navy; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Louis Spano retired from the Shell Oil Company in 
102004, where he worked as an electrician; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Louis Spano was preceded in death by his father, 
12Jasper Spano; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Louis Spano is survived by his wife, Nancy; his 
14two daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Wood and Tara (Kostas) Gavardinas; 
15his three grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian Wood, and Nadia 
16Gavardinas; and his brother, Leo (Norma) Spano; therefore, be 
17it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Louis L. Spano, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
