SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Toni Pauline Fry-Hilgert of Alton, who
4passed away on March 17, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Toni Fry-Hilgert was born in Alton to Gordon and
6Cary (Sinks) Fry on January 1, 1970; she married Mark Hilgert
7on June 17, 2000; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Toni Fry-Hilgert worked for the Alton School
9District and West Elementary School as a 1st grade teacher; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Toni Fry-Hilgert was a member of St. Mary's
11Catholic Church in Alton; she was active in the Alton Little
12Theater, PEO, MOMMES, and was a Widji Woman with the Girl
13Scouts and was a Girl Scout Leader; she spent countless hours
14working with the Drama Department at Alton High School and East
15Alton Wood River High School; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Toni Fry-Hilgert was preceded in death by her
17father, Gordon Fry; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Toni Fry-Hilgert is survived by her husband, Mark
19Hilgert; her triplets, Benjamin, Jonah, and Mollie Hilgert; her
20mother, Cary Fry; her three sisters, Roxanna (Chuck) Johnson,

1Shone Fry (Judy Bauer), and Kim Fry (Chuck Oary); her brother,
2Tracy (Kamie) Fry; her mother-in-law, Alice Jean Hilgert; her
3brothers-in-law, Paul (Carla) Hilgert and John Hilgert; her
4sister-in-law, Laura (Todd) Burton; 16 nieces and nephews; and
512 great-nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Toni Pauline Fry-Hilgert, and extend our sincere condolences to
9her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Toni Fry-Hilgert as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
