SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Donald D. Duncan, Jr. of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on December 31, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Duncan, Jr. was born on February 19, 1924 
6in Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Donald Duncan, Jr. served with the United States 
8Army in World War II in the Pacific Theater; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Donald Duncan, Jr. was a former Elder with the 
10First Presbyterian Church in Waukegan, a Past Master of Masonic 
11Lodge #78, and a retired employee of IBM; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Donald Duncan, Jr. was preceded in death by his 
13parents, Donald and Emily Duncan; his brothers, Robert and 
14Melford; and his sisters, Esther and Lillian; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Donald Duncan, Jr. is survived by his wife, Jean 
16(nee Eccles) Duncan; his son, Donald Duncan, III; his daughter, 
17Heather (Keith McCready) Duncan; and his grandchildren, Kara 
18and Ian McCready; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald D. Duncan, Jr.; 
3and be it further

5presented to the family of Donald Duncan, Jr. as an expression 
6of our sympathy.
