SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Rodney Casillas of Moline, who passed 
4away on January 21, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was born on June 1, 1970 in 
6Moline; his parents were Joe "Patrick" and Elena Oliva 
7Casillas; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was a veteran of the United States 
9Air Force; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was the owner of Rodney Casillas 
11Insurance Solutions in Bettendorf, Iowa; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas was preceded in death by his 
13father; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Rodney Casillas is survived by his mother, Elena; 
15his children, Kaylie Bowerman, Kory Armstrong, and Jamie 
16Hoskins; his sisters, Sharon Casillas and Cindi Casillas; his 
17brothers, Steve and Joseph Casillas; his nieces and nephews; 
18Christine Cook, Johnathan Casillas, Alan Cook, Drew Casillas, 
19and Elizabeth Bucciero; his great-niece, Hailee Casillas; his 
20many aunts and uncles; and his lifelong friend, Martin Pizano;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Rodney Casillas; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Rodney Casillas as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
