2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Anne D. Bartlett of North Chicago, who |
4 | | passed away on January 15, 2016; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was born in Waukegan to Victor and |
6 | | Josephine Wachowiak on April 20, 1925; she attended Holy Rosary |
7 | | Grade School and graduated from Waukegan Township High School |
8 | | in 1943; she married Lloyd Bartlett at Holy Rosary Church in |
9 | | North Chicago on October 4, 1947; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was a devoted mother and wife, who |
11 | | loved to bake her homemade jelly star cookies and her special |
12 | | sauerkraut for holidays, family, and church luncheons at Queen |
13 | | of Peace Church; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was a past member of the St. |
15 | | Elizabeth Club and the Holy Rosary Mother's Club; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was preceded in death by her |
17 | | husband, Lloyd; her parents; her 3 brothers and 2 sisters; her |
18 | | son-in-law, Peter Palyok; and her infant great-grandchild, |
19 | | Michael Anthony; and
|
20 | | WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett is survived by her 6 children, Jo |

10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
12 | | Anne D. Bartlett, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
14 | | further

15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
