SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Primo J. Cabri of Highwood, who passed 
4away on December 3, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Primo Cabri was born on March 22, 1922 in Kincaid; 
6his parents were Leno and Frances (nee Cannarella) Cabri; he 
7moved to Highwood at the age of 7 and attended Oak Terrace 
8School before graduating from Highland Park High School with 
9the Class of 1940; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Primo Cabri served his country as a member of the 
11United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific 
12Theatre; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Primo Cabri was a lifetime member of the Highwood 
14Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Primo Cabri was the beloved husband of the late 
16Diana Delores; the loving father of Bruce (Gloria) Cabri and 
17Mark Cabri; the fond "nono" of the late Amy Cabri (the late 
18David Miller), Heather (Rogelio) Perez, Tina (Jonathan) 
19Plassman, and Tami (Kyle) McCollough; the "great nono" of Emma 
20and Jacob Plassman; the dear brother of the late Bruna 
21Nardini-Fini; and the fond uncle of Patricia (the late Fred)

1Fabbri; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Primo J. Cabri; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Primo Cabri as an expression of our 
8sympathy.
