SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Kutzler of Waukegan, who passed away
4on June 15, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Kutzler was born on February 14, 1930 and was
6a life-time Waukegan resident; he served in the United States
7Marine Corp, 7th Battalion Engineering as a Sergeant from 1950
8to 1953 and was a member of the reserves until 1959; he married
9Patricia Jean Naber in the spring of 1955; he graduated from
10the Milwaukee School of Engineering; and
 
11    WHEREAS, John Kutzler worked at the wire mill and then OMC
12for 32 years before retiring; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Kutzler was an aviation enthusiast and a
14member of the EAA in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; he was an avid singer,
15figure skater, member of the Swedish Glee Club, board member of
16Slovenic Hall, and counselor with Junior Achievement and
17volunteered his talents at area nursing homes; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Kutzler was preceded in death by his wife,
19Patricia Jean; his daughter, Patti Kutzler; his parents, John
20and Mary Kutzler; his brother, Edward; and his sister,
21Bernadine; and

1    WHEREAS, John Kutzler is survived by his 7 children, Edward
2J. Kutzler, Charisse M. Kutzler, John W. Kutzler, Dianne M.
3(Tony) Theis, Robert A. Kutzler, Susan M. (Dean M. deceased)
4Vincent, and Lisa M. (Craig) Miller; his 7 grandchildren,
5Christopher S. and Nicholas R. Theis, Stephanie M. Williamson,
6Ashley M. and Rosario N. Vincent, and Tyler B. and Jenna M.
7Miller; and his sisters, Marge Celaric and Pat Barker;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11John Kutzler, and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
12friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of John Kutzler as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
