SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas L. "Tom" Seibert of Moline, who 
4passed away on September 13, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tom Seibert was born in Galesburg on June 28, 1929 
6to Anthony and Margaret (nee Barsage) Seibert; he served in the 
7United States Navy during the Korean War; he married Jacqueline 
8M. DePaepe on August 16, 1958; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Tom Seibert was employed at International 
10Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 145 in Moline as an 
11electrician for 28 years, retiring in 1993; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Tom Seibert was a member of Sacred Heart Church in 
13Moline; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Tom Seibert was preceded in death by his parents; 
15his  wife, Jacqueline; his  grandson, Grant; his  brothers, 
16William, John, Joseph, Phillip, and Nicholas; and his  sisters, 
17Mary, Bernadette, Catherine, and Veronica; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Tom Seibert is survived by his daughters and 
19sons-in-law, Lisa (Greg) Jump, Terri (Joe) Knox, Rita (Tim) 
20Kraft, Connie (Jeff) Whitcomb, Julie (Scott) Petersen, Jody

1(Matt) Bernemann, and Mary (Jim) Pfannenstiel; his sons and 
2daughters-in-law, Christopher (Geraldine) Seibert, Thom 
3(Annette) Seibert, and Michael (Grainne) Seibert; his 
4grandchildren, JoLynn, Brooke, Sarah, Nathan, Zachary, Dylan, 
5Quinn, Alex, Nick, Ryan (Alyssa), Julia, Rachel, Erik, Justin, 
6Rebecca, Sean, Gabriel, Noah, Ashley, Hannah, Meghan, Spenser, 
7and Sydney; his 2 great-grandchildren, Cade and Trevis; his 
8"granddaughter" Marcella, whom he sponsored in Columbia, South 
9America; his sister, Martha Forsberg; and his brothers, Bernard 
10and Francis; therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
13Thomas L. "Tom" Seibert, and extend our sincere condolences to 
14his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
15further
  
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17presented to  the family of  Tom Seibert as an expression of our 
18deepest sympathy.
