SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jay Willis Landwer of McHenry, who passed 
4away on August 14, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jay Landwer was born on February 29, 1936 in Lake 
6Zurich; his parents were Willis and Emma Landwer; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jay Landwer served his country in the United 
8States Navy during the Korean War; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jay Landwer will be remembered fondly by his 
10family and friends as a very compassionate man who enjoyed 
11pulling pranks on everyone; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jay Landwer was the beloved husband of the late 
13Ann Paula Landwer, whom he married on November 9, 1957; the 
14loving father of Scott (Collette) Landwer and Dawn (Bernedette) 
15Landwer; the devoted grandfather of Taylor Anne; and the caring 
16brother of Nancy Metzger; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of Jay Willis Landwer; 
20and be it further
