SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kathaleen "Dolly" Sarnwick of McHenry, 
4who passed away on July 11, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathaleen Sarnwick was born on July 7, 1920 in 
6Chicago; her parents were John and Helena (nee Bulman) Hayden; 
7she married Henry Sarnwick on October 30, 1948 at Our Lady of 
8Grace Church in Chicago; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Kathaleen Sarnwick volunteered and worked at 
10schools and churches and was dedicated to raising her children; 
11she attracted people wherever she went with her quick wit, 
12intelligence, and kindness; she also loved children and animals 
13and they were drawn to her; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kathaleen Sarnwick was preceded in death by her 
15husband, Henry; her parents; a sister, Marie; and 2 brothers, 
16Jim and John; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kathaleen Sarnwick is survived by 4 children, 
18Christine, Kevin (Marilyn), Richard (Gail), and Karen (Steve); 
19her grandchildren, Rick (Anita), Traci, Kathaleen (Brett), 
20Steve (Lauren), Debra, Cheryl, Brendt, and Paul; her 
21great-grandchildren, Joshua, Charlotte, Dominic, Catherine,

1Emma, Meg, Jack, Luke, Seth, Lily, Leland, Logan, Caleb, and 
2Grayson; and her sister-in-law, June, and her family; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathaleen "Dolly" 
7Sarnwick; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Kathaleen Sarnwick as an expression 
10of our sympathy.
