SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Thomas Erdman Pearson of Colona, who 
4passed away on July 20, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson was born on June 23, 1945; his 
6parents were Thomas and Lida (Erdman) Pearson; he grew up in 
7Geneseo; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson served his country as a member of 
9the National Guard; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson retired as a union roofer after 
11many years of service; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson enjoyed drag racing and raced his 
13own car in Cordova for many years; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson was preceded in death by his 
15parents and a sister, Maureen Norris; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Thomas Pearson is survived by his siblings, Lida 
17Paller and Silvis and Marilyn Popelier; many nieces and 
18nephews; and a brother-in-law, Bill Norris; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas Erdman Pearson; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Thomas Pearson as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
