SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Domenico G. Coladipietro of Joliet, who
4passed away on July 6, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Domenico Coladipietro was born in Caramanico
6Terme, Italy on March 16, 1935 to Nunziata and Biase
7Coladipietro; he emigrated to Canada and settled in Joliet,
8where he had resided since 1960; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Domenico Coladipietro retired from Caterpillar,
10Inc. after more than 30 years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Domenico Coladipietro was a member of St. John the
12Baptist Catholic Church and a founding member of the American
13Italian Cultural Society; he was a talented wine maker and
14enjoyed gardening, bocce ball, and spending time with his
15family and friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Domenico Coladipietro was preceded in death by his
17parents, and his 2 brothers, Chris (late Norma) and Antonio
18Coladipietro; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Domenico Coladipietro was the beloved husband of
2052 years to Maria (nee D'Amico) Coladipietro; the loving father

1of Marco (Lynn) Coladipietro, Franco (Amy) Coladipietro, and
2Carla (Domenico) Fronteddu; the proud and devoted "Nonno" to
3Michael and Marisa Coladipietro, Alyssa and Joseph
4Coladipietro, and Gianna Fronteddu; the dear brother of Augusta
5(the late Albert) Facchini and Anna Maria (Vincenzo) Persico;
6also surviving are his sister-in-law, Margaret Coladipietro,
7and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Domenico G. Coladipietro, and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Domenico Coladipietro as an
15expression of our deepest sympathy.
