SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John Lee Hunter, who passed away on July 
45, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Hunter was born in Chicago on November 16, 
61989 to Angela Hunter and John Davis; he attended Mahalia 
7Jackson Elementary School and Harlan High School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, John Hunter moved to Jefferson City, Missouri in 
92013 and began working at Scholastic, Inc. in the packaging 
10department; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, John Hunter was a loving son, uncle, nephew, 
12cousin, and father to his daughter, Janyla Li Hunter; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, John Hunter is survived by his mother, Angela 
14Hunter; his father, John Davis; his daughter, Janyla Hunter; 
15his nephew, Shawn Brown; his niece, Mercedes Hardaway; a host 
16of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends; and a special friend, 
17Keyonna Warren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20John Lee Hunter, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
