SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Harriet A. Lenhart of Harvard, who passed 
4away on March 18, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harriet Lenhart was born on December 18, 1924 in 
6Harvard; her parents were Edward and Helen (nee Eichman) Voss; 
7she married Frank L. Lenhart on November 6, 1948; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Harriet Lenhart was the owner and operator of 
9Lenhart's Ladies Apparel in Harvard for 28 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Harriet Lenhart was a member of Trinity Lutheran 
11Church, where she was in the church choir and taught Sunday 
12school for many years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Harriet Lenhart was preceded in death by her 
14parents; a brother, DeForest Voss; and a sister, Myrtle 
15Maguire; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Harriet Lenhart is survived by her spouse, Frank; 
172 children, Terry (Mary) Lenhart and Nancy (Terry) Leonard; 5 
18grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Harriet A. Lenhart; 
3and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Harriet Lenhart as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
