2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Jane Anne Fish of Woodstock, who passed |
4 | | away on March 11, 2015; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Jane Fish was born on October 5, 1926 to Walter |
6 | | and Alice Robinson; she married Donald A. Fish in 1946; and
|
7 | | WHEREAS, Jane Fish was a factory worker, representing the |
8 | | women of America during World War II as a "Rosie the Riveter"; |
9 | | she also spent several years at Automatic Liquid Packaging Inc |
10 | | in Woodstock; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Jane Fish and her husband made Alden their home |
12 | | for more than 40 years, before moving to Woodstock in 2002; she |
13 | | enjoyed Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Solitaire, and spending |
14 | | time with family; she loved telling stories and laughing with |
15 | | her family, including her 18-year-old cat, Sylvester; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Jane Fish was proceeded in death by her parents; |
17 | | her husband of 67 years, Donald; her son, Alan Fish; her |
18 | | grandson, Brian Garza; her brothers, Walter, Guy, Phil, and |
19 | | Louis Robinson; and her sisters, Betty Coss, Shirley Deaton, |
20 | | Alice Whiting, and Mary Collins; and
