SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  David C. Dubs of Richmond, who passed 
4away on April 21, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, David Dubs was born on June 30, 1954 in Chicago; 
6his parents were Richard and Beulah (nee Solomon) Dubs; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, David Dubs was a graduate of Wauconda High School 
8and a former member of the Wauconda Fire Department; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, David Dubs was well known as a superb woodworker; 
10he was a self-employed carpenter, designer, and cabinetmaker 
11for over 32 years, operating Wooden World in Richmond; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, David Dubs was preceded by his father and a 
13brother, Jeffrey Dubs; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, David Dubs is survived by a daughter, Nicole 
15(Jacob) Likeric; a son, Ryan (Monica) Dubs; the mother of his 
16children, Linda Dubs; 3 grandchildren, Evan and Carson Dubs and 
17Coraleen Likeric; his mother, Beulah (Russell) Mansfield; 2 
18sisters, Linda (Rodney) Wertschnig and Donna (Kerry) Brown; and 
19a brother, Daniel Dubs; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of David C. Dubs; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of David Dubs as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
