SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Dr. Richard A. Toutant of Oakwood Hills, 
4who passed away on April 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Toutant was born on February 20, 1928 
6in Beaver Dam; his parents were William and Anna Toutant; he 
7married Joan R. Langkau on October 12, 1985 in Hayward, 
8Wisconsin; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Toutant had a dentistry practice for 
1035 years in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Toutant served his country as a member 
12of the United States Army Air Forces; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Toutant was preceded in death by his 
14parents; his first wife, Audrey (nee Pluckan) Toutant; a 
15sister, Mary Toutant; and a brother, Jack Toutant; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Dr. Richard Toutant is survived by his wife, Joan; 
1710 children, Terese (Gary) Baier, Michael Toutant, Tomas (Gina) 
18Toutant, William (Lori) Toutant, Amy (Roger) Salzwedel, 
19Patricia (Brian) Landsinger, Allan Leonard, Jeffrey (Gail) 
20Leonard, Randall Leonard, and Wendy Sessler; 20 grandchildren;

114 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Dr. Richard A. 
6Toutant; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Dr. Richard Toutant as an expression 
9of our sympathy.
