SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Arlette L. Stock of Marengo, who passed 
4away on December 15, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Arlette Stock was born on October 23, 1930 in 
6Sycamore; her parents were Arvid and Lillian (nee Palmquist) 
7Johnson; she married Robert C. Stock on July 2, 1949 in Genoa; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Arlette Stock was employed as a teacher's aid at 
10Marengo Community High School, retiring after 21 years of 
11service; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Arlette Stock was a member of Zion Lutheran Church 
13and the Ladies Altar Guild; she enjoyed reading books to 
14children at Zion Lutheran School; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Arlette Stock was preceded in death by her 
16parents; a son, Kurt Stock; a brother, William Johnson; a 
17brother-in-law, William; and a daughter-in-law, Diana Stock; 
18and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Arlette Stock is survived by her husband, Robert; 
202 sons, Michael (Judy) Stock and Stuart Stock; 4 grandchildren,

1Kristin (Jeremy) Becker, Jennifer (Jason) Batty, Robert 
2(Michele) Stock, and Joseph Stock; 4 great-grandchildren, 
3Mikayla and Natalie Becker and Alexa and Chase Stock; a sister, 
4Darlene (Harry) Bolz; a sister-in-law, Anita Johnson; 2 
5nephews; and 2 nieces; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Arlette L. Stock; and 
9be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Arlette Stock as an expression of 
12our sympathy.
