| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Dianne S. Seymour, who passed away on |
| 4 | | February 21, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Seymour was born on January 16, 1955 to |
| 6 | | Virginia and Norman Holt and grew up in Waukegan; she graduated |
| 7 | | from Waukegan High School and the College of Lake County |
| 8 | | nursing program; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Seymour worked as a nurse and then worked |
| 10 | | on the Abbott Laboratories Clinical Research Team; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Seymour enjoyed playing softball and |
| 12 | | volleyball for many years, and loved being active with her |
| 13 | | children; she also enjoyed taking her family on Disney |
| 14 | | vacations and traveling to Arizona with her cousins and best |
| 15 | | friend; she spent countless hours at school programs and |
| 16 | | sporting events; she was a loyal Chicago White Sox fan and a |
| 17 | | Green Bay Packers season ticket holder; she was an animal lover |
| 18 | | and dog whisperer and loved fostering rescue dogs while they |
| 19 | | waited for forever homes; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Seymour was preceded in death by her |
| 21 | | parents; her brother, Larry Holt; her ex-husband and dear |
|

| 1 | | friend, Kevin Seymour; her brother-in-law, Doug Seymour; her |
| 2 | | sister-in-law, Karen Seymour; her dear aunt, Reva Holt; and her |
| 3 | | deeply missed dog, Murray; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Dianne Seymour is survived by her children, Angela |
| 5 | | (Ramon) Moreno and Brian Seymour; her grandchildren, Maya |
| 6 | | Dianne, Evan Del, and Joel Vincent; her Uncle Bill (Jane) |
| 7 | | Dowden and Aunt Betty (Bill) Potochnik; her cousins, Doug |
| 8 | | (Iris) Dowden, Linda (Brian) Dowden, Rob (Cheryl) Potochnik, |
| 9 | | and Rick (Kathy) Potochnik; her in-laws, Lois Wilson, Steve |
| 10 | | (Sue) Seymour, and Michael Seymour; her nephew, Steve Seymour |
| 11 | | and niece, Kelly Seymour; many other nieces and nephews; her |
| 12 | | best friend, Trudy Gomez; a host of other dear friends; and her |
| 13 | | best boys, her dogs, Sonny and Norman; therefore, be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Dianne S. Seymour, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 18 | | further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Dianne Seymour as an expression of |
| 21 | | our deepest sympathy.
