| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Barbara O. Parks, who passed away on |
| 4 | | January 11, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was born in Chicago and was a |
| 6 | | resident of Joliet for 50 years; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was a member of Sacred Heart Church; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was preceded in death by her parents |
| 10 | | and 2 brothers; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks is survived by 5 sisters, Elizabeth |
| 12 | | Franklin, Salye Marshall, Geraldine Washington, Irene Foster, |
| 13 | | and Pat Shannon; a special niece, Marilyn Dixon; and her many |
| 14 | | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her |
| 17 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara O. Parks; and |
