SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kenneth J. Lehr of Fidelity, who passed 
4away on February 5, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr was born on July 29, 1955 in 
6Jerseyville; his parents were Ervin J. and Mary Ann (nee Geers) 
7Lehr; he married Janelle A. (nee Davis) Lehr on October 25, 
81975 in Wood River; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr worked as a machine adjustor at the 
10Olin Corporation for many years until his retirement; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr served as Chief of the Medora Fire 
12Protection District; he was also an active Emergency Medical 
13Technician for the Area Ambulance Service; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr enjoyed gardening, fishing, 
15carpentry, and old western movies; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr was preceded in death by his mother 
17and his grandparents, John and Alice Geers and Edward and Lena 
18Lehr; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Kenneth Lehr is survived by his wife, Janelle; a

1son; Kenneth J. Lehr, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Kenneth J. Lehr, 
2III, Alexis A. Price, and Gavin J. Lehr; and 2 sisters and a 
3brother-in-law, Patty Lehr and Beverly and Bob Hardy; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Kenneth J. Lehr; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Kenneth Lehr as an expression of our 
11sympathy.
