Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
OPERATIONAL EXPENSES
Section 5. In addition to other amounts appropriated, the amount of $10,444,100, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for operational expenses, awards, grants and permanent improvements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.

Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2016, if and only if Senate Bill 2789 of the 99th General Assembly (the Unbalanced Budget Response Act), as introduced in the Illinois Senate, becomes law.
