Amends the Illinois Mental Health First Aid Training Act. Requires the Department of Human Services to report annually to the Governor and the Generally Assembly in its evaluation of the distribution of training grants under the Act.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Mental Health First Aid Training |
| 5 | | Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (405 ILCS 105/35)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 35. Evaluation. The Department of Human Services, as |
| 8 | | the Illinois Mental Health First Aid training authority, shall |
| 9 | | ensure that evaluative criteria are established which measure |
| 10 | | the distribution of the training grants and the fidelity of the |
| 11 | | training processes to the objective of building mental health, |
| 12 | | alcohol abuse, and substance abuse literacy designed to help |
| 13 | | the public identify, understand, and respond to the signs of |
| 14 | | mental illness, alcohol abuse, and substance abuse, and shall |
| 15 | | report annually to the Governor and the General Assembly on its |
| 16 | | evaluation of the distribution of training grants under this |
| 17 | | Act.
