Amends the Illinois Lottery Law. Provides that the identity of a recipient of a prize may not be disclosed without the consent of the recipient. Provides that the awarding of a prize may not be conditioned upon disclosure of the identity of the recipient.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Lottery Law is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 7.18 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 1605/7.18 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 7.18. Disclosure of identity of winners. The |
| 8 | | Department may not disclose to the public the name of any |
| 9 | | recipient of a prize unless the recipient consents in writing |
| 10 | | to the disclosure. The Department may not condition the |
| 11 | | awarding of any prize upon the disclosure of the identity of |
| 12 | | the recipient.
