The Illinois Senate,

99th General Assembly:

Today I return Senate Bill 2924, which amends the effective date of the vegetative filter strip property tax assessment bill to 12/31/16 from 1/1/17 to comply with statute. This bill is identical to House Bill 4645, which I approved.

Therefore, pursuant to Section 9(b) of Article IV of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby return Senate Bill 2924 entitled “AN ACT concerning revenue”, with the foregoing objections, vetoed in its entirety.
