Amends the General Provisions Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that pay to a participant in any pension fund or retirement system under the Code for overtime performed after the effective date of the amendatory Act shall not be considered for purposes of determining pensionable salary, earnings, or compensation.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 1-170 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 1-170. Limitation on pensionable salary, earnings, or |
| 8 | | compensation; overtime pay. Pay to a participant in any pension |
| 9 | | fund or retirement system under this Code for overtime |
| 10 | | performed after the effective date of this amendatory Act of |
| 11 | | the 99th General Assembly shall not be considered for purposes |
| 12 | | of determining pensionable salary, earnings, or compensation.
