| 4 | | "Section 5. The Fire Sprinkler Contractor Licensing Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 120 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 120. Grandfather clause. Any person or business that, |
| 8 | | as of the
effective date of this Act, is
installing or
|
| 9 | | repairing fire sprinkler systems in the State of Illinois and |
| 10 | | has a minimum of
3 years of experience
in installing or |
| 11 | | repairing fire sprinkler systems is exempt from having a
|
| 12 | | designated certified
person as required in
Section 20. After |
| 13 | | January 1, 2016, no initial licenses shall be issued under this |
| 14 | | Section.
