Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that no premium associated with a property or casualty policy that is amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of the Act may be based on an individual insured's immigration status. Effective January 1, 2016.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 126.33 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (215 ILCS 5/126.33 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 126.33. Rate equity. No premium associated with an |
| 8 | | insurance policy classified as Class 2 or Class 3 under Section |
| 9 | | 4 of this Act that is amended, delivered, issued, or renewed |
| 10 | | after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th |
| 11 | | General Assembly may be based on an individual insured's |
| 12 | | immigration status.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
| 14 | | 1, 2016.
