| 5 | | "Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is |
| 6 | | amended by changing Section 18 as follows:

| 8 | | Sec. 18. Probation and court services departments |
| 9 | | considered pretrial services agencies. For the purposes of |
| 10 | | administering the provisions of Public Act 95-773, known as the |
| 11 | | Cindy Bischof Law and Public Act 98-1012, all probation and |
| 12 | | court services departments are to be considered pretrial |
| 13 | | services agencies under the Pretrial Services Act and under the |
| 14 | | bail bond provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.
