1    AN ACT concerning children.

 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly: 



 
4    Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended  
5by changing Section 39.2 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 505/39.2)
7    Sec. 39.2. Illinois Children's Justice Task Force. The 
8Illinois Children's Justice Task Force, in compliance with (i) 
9the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) (42 U.S.C. 
105106c), as amended by Public Law 111-320; (ii) the Victims of 
11Crime Act of 1984 (42 U.S.C. 10603), as amended; and (iii) 
12Section 116 of the CAPTA Reauthorization Act of 2010, shall be 
13charged with the exploration, research, and development of 
14recommendations on a multidisciplinary team approach for the 
15investigation of reports of abuse or neglect of children under 
16the age of 18.
17    The Illinois Children's Justice Task Force shall submit a 
18report to the General Assembly by January 31, 2016 March 1, 
192015 regarding, but not limited to, its recommendations for a 
20statewide multidisciplinary approach to child abuse or neglect 
21investigations.  The Department of Children and Family Services  
22shall continue to provide administrative support to the Task 
23Force through the Department's Children's Justice Grant

3    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
4becoming law.
