| 1 | | AN ACT concerning local government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Cook County Forest Preserve District Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 8.4 as follows:

| 6 | | (70 ILCS 810/8.4)

| 7 | | Sec. 8.4. Rules and regulations governing construction |
| 8 | | Building codes. All rules and regulations governing the |
| 9 | | construction and alteration of buildings and structures and |
| 10 | | parts and appurtenances thereof as adopted by the county board |
| 11 | | of the county in which the district is located The building |
| 12 | | codes of a county, and not the
building codes of any other unit |
| 13 | | of local government in which the affected
district
property is |
| 14 | | located, shall apply to all construction projects on property |
| 15 | | owned
by the district.
