| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 3-25.2 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (110 ILCS 805/3-25.2) (from Ch. 122, par. 103-25.2)

| 7 | | Sec. 3-25.2. Armed forces recruiting and training.
|
| 8 | | (a) To provide, on an equal basis, access to the
the campus |
| 9 | | to
the official recruiting representatives of the armed forces |
| 10 | | of Illinois
and the United States for the purpose of informing |
| 11 | | students of the educational
and career opportunities available |
| 12 | | in the military if the board has provided
such access to |
| 13 | | persons or groups whose purpose is to acquaint students with
|
| 14 | | educational or occupational opportunities available to them. |
| 15 | | The board
is not required to give greater notice regarding the |
| 16 | | right of access to
recruiting representatives than is given to |
| 17 | | other persons and groups. |
| 18 | | (b) To not bar or exclude from its curriculum, campus, or |
| 19 | | school
facilities any armed forces training program or |
| 20 | | organization operated under
the authority of the United States |
| 21 | | government because the program or
organization complies with |
| 22 | | rules, regulations, or policies of the United
States government |
| 23 | | or any agency, branch, or department thereof.
