| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the |
| 4 | | Naperville North High School Huskies boys soccer team on the |
| 5 | | occasion of winning the 2016 Illinois Class 3A High School |
| 6 | | Soccer Championship; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The 2016 Naperville North Huskies' hard-fought |
| 8 | | 3-1 victory over Barrington in the Class 3A State championship |
| 9 | | game at Hoffman Estates High School is the second State title |
| 10 | | for Naperville North Soccer, the other having been achieved in |
| 11 | | 1998; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Naperville North Junior Jack Barry provided an |
| 13 | | assist in the first half of the championship game with a long |
| 14 | | throw-in, then scored the go-ahead goal in the second half to |
| 15 | | put the Huskies over the top; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Naperville North Huskies boys soccer team |
| 17 | | finished their 2016 championship season with an impressive |
| 18 | | 21-2-3 record; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, All of the 2016 Huskies team members contributed |
| 20 | | to an outstanding championship season, including Ali Khorfan, |
| 21 | | Andrew Klaiber, Michael Kornecki, Chris Sullivan, Alex Wang, |
|

| 10 | | and Paul Becvar, Freshman Coaches Kermit Eby and Chach Aguilar, |
| 11 | | Athletic Director Bob Quinn, and Head Trainer Jason |
| 12 | | Majchrowski, and cheered on by all of the wonderful, supportive |
| 13 | | parents and fans; therefore, be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 | | congratulate the members of the Naperville North Huskies boys |
| 17 | | soccer team on winning the Illinois High School Class 3A State |
| 18 | | Championship and wish them great success and happiness in the |
| 19 | | future; and be it further

| 20 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 | | presented to the Naperville North Huskies boys soccer team |
