2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Timothy | ||||||
4 | Patrick Dunlap of Lynwood, who passed away on July 23, 2016; | ||||||
5 | and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap was born in Harvey to Donna and | ||||||
7 | Dick Dunlap on May 1, 1954; he married Sherry Curran on May 25, | ||||||
8 | 1974; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap worked for 26 years for Waste | ||||||
10 | Management as a heavy equipment operator and lowboy driver; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap was a 42-year member of Teamsters | ||||||
12 | Local 731, where he served 18 years as a Vice | ||||||
13 | President/Business agent and Trustee; he was also Trustee for | ||||||
14 | the health, welfare, and pensions funds; he was an Executive | ||||||
15 | Board member of Teamsters Local 731, a Delegate for Teamsters | ||||||
16 | Joint Council #25, a Delegate for International Brotherhood of | ||||||
17 | Teamsters, and a Delegate for Chicago Federation of Labor; he | ||||||
18 | was a Trustee in the Village of Lynwood, President of Southland | ||||||
19 | Friends of Labor, Commissioner of Lincoln Lansing Drainage | ||||||
20 | District, and Executive Board member of the Lake Lynwood Homes | ||||||
21 | Association; he was an active member of the Indiana Harbor | ||||||
22 | Yacht Club in East Chicago, Indiana; and a Senior Board member |

1 | of the Lake Lynwood Marina Home; he was a past Lions Club | ||||||
2 | President; and | ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap was involved in numerous | ||||||
4 | charitable organizations and supported many clubs and | ||||||
5 | fundraisers; he loved spending time with family and friends; he | ||||||
6 | was an avid boater and enjoyed driving his 1967 GTO; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap was preceded in death by his | ||||||
8 | parents; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Timothy Dunlap is survived by his wife of 42 | ||||||
10 | years, Cheryl (Curran) Dunlap; his daughter, Tracy (Mark) | ||||||
11 | Austin; his sons, David (Rachael) Dunlap, and Earl Patrick | ||||||
12 | Dunlap; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Curtis, Samantha, Sean, | ||||||
13 | and Josephine; his brothers, Tod (Teri Ann) Dunlap, and Thomas | ||||||
14 | (Ann) Dunlap; and his sisters, Tammy (Dan) Genesio, and Terri | ||||||
15 | (Ron) Glaum; therefore, be it

16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
17 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
18 | mourn the passing of Timothy Patrick Dunlap, and extend our | ||||||
19 | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew | ||||||
20 | and loved him; and be it further

21 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
