| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Leonard |
| 4 | | Marak; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Leonard Marak was born on May 3, 1976 in Arlington |
| 6 | | Heights; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Leonard Marak worked at the Palatine Police |
| 8 | | Department before graduating from college; after graduating |
| 9 | | from the police academy at UIUC, he worked at the Huntley |
| 10 | | Police Department, where he earned the rank of sergeant; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Leonard Marak is survived by his wife, Kimberly |
| 12 | | Grinnell; his sons, Leonard, Bennett, and Samuel; his parents, |
| 13 | | Leonard and Nancy Marak; his siblings, Darcey Martino and Adam |
| 14 | | Marak; his seven nieces and nephews; and his other family |
| 15 | | members and friends; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 18 | | mourn the passing of Leonard Marak; and be it further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Leonard Marak.
