HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Sylvia A. Heuser of Wood 
4Dale on the occasion of her 100th birthday on October 26, 2015; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Sylvia Heuser was born on October 26, 1915 in 
7Chicago; her parents are Julia and Thomas Rocco; she grew up on 
8Taylor Street with her 3 siblings; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Sylvia Heuser was a 29-year employee for the Mars 
10Candy Company, where she hand-wrapped candy bars; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Sylvia Heuser has lived through 10 major military 
12conflicts, 18 United States Presidents, and the Great 
13Depression; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Sylvia Heuser raised 2 beautiful girls with her 
15husband, Ted; she is the grandmother of 5 grandchildren, 
16Timothy Mackey, Mark Mackey, William Belmonte, Teresa 
17Belmonte, and Joseph Belmonte, and the great-grandmother of 7 
18great-grandchildren, Abigail Mackey, Sean Mackey, Patrick 
19Mackey, Grace Mackey, Will Belmonte, Alexis Belmonte, and Nadia 
20Mackey; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Sylvia A. Heuser on the occasion of her 100th 
4birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to come; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Sylvia Heuser as a symbol of our esteem and 
8respect.
